The Consumer Partners Group, founded in 2009, is a not-for-profit organization that is focused on resolving disputes between merchants and consumers.
We do not charge merchants or consumers for the service, and rely upon donated time, materials, and supplies for our organization to operate.
Unlike other ventures that either sell business reviews (often requiring payment by merchants for higher ratings) or charge fees for alternate dispute resolution, our model takes its cue from traditional "town hall" style dialogue. An unbiased, uncompensated intermediary attempts to resolve a dispute, and is not paid for any result or no result. However, if the intermediary determines that a merchant is "at-fault" and does not work fairly to resolve a matter, the merchant is placed in the CP Newsletter, which is e-mailed to our membership. If a member is determined to be unfairly or unethically trying to leverage Consumer Partners for his or her benefit, that individual loses his or her membership and is barred from receiving the CP Newsletter or filing any complaint with us.
As of January 1, 2015, we are 331,211 strong throughout the United States. Thanks for making Consumer Partners so effective everyone. Remember to patronize those merchants that work with us, and be wary of those merchants who did not offer an equitable, fair resolution.
